The HR Intern will perform a variety of clerical, administrative, and support tasks under the direction of the HR Director. The internship program is a developmental program designed to provide key competency development and ongoing training to prepare individuals for Human Resources careers. This internship is an opportunity for a Human Resources Management, HR Development, Human Relations, or Business Administration student to learn more about business management from a seasoned Direction. The intern will also have exposure to all areas of the organization such as administration, supply chain management, marketing and office tasks. Our interns collaborate with business leaders and executives in support of our business goals. Our Administration staff thrives on the challenging and rewarding work we do for our internal and external customers as we support energy efficiency and energy program management. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Conduct a variety of general administrative tasks as assigned 2. Assist in HR reporting and metrics, including data entry, creating charts, and performing basic analysis. 3. Assist with record archiving, storage, filing and general office organization. 4. Facilitate onboarding and related in-house staff events 5. Support the documentation of administration procedures and office protocols. 6. Represent the company in fielding and communicating key human resource policies. 7. Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism. 8. Support the calendar management for HR Director SUPERVISION Position reports to the Director of HR. DESIRED REQUIREMENTS 1. Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate level degree from an accredited college or university. 2. College course work and major in Human Resources Management, Human Resources Development, Human Relations, or Business Administration 3. Undergraduate students must have completed a minimum of 1-3 years of undergraduate coursework. A GPA of 3.0 or better is preferred. 4. Knowledge and understanding of basic office work. 5. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office - Excel and Word 6. Must be eligible to work in the United States. 7. Excellent oral and written communications skills 8. Strong commitment to continuous learning 9. Ability to work in a team environment 10. Meet company background, substance abuse, and driving clearance requirements.
