Job Overview


Support the Axle assembly and machining department in tracking our performance, participating in problem solving activities and help drive solutions that will help us achieve our targets and foster continuous improvement.


Responsibilities

Work with the Operations Machine Shop Team to support the following departments: New Final Drive Assembly, Advanced 6x4 Assembly, Ring Gear Machining, Pinion Machining and Heat Treat.
Daily/Weekly/Monthly tracking of department performance
Problem Solving Activities
Kaizen Workshops
Utilizing Manufacturing Control Plans to update or create Standard Work Instructions and other important documentation.

Qualifications



Preferred Level in School: Junior, Senior
Preferred Major: Mechanical Engineering, Industrial engineering, Engineering, Controls Engineering, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing

- Must be participating in aBachelor's Program or higher (or have graduated within the past 12 months) required
- GPA of 3.0 or higher required
- An attached resume is required
