Market Research Intern

This is a remote position; the selected candidate can perform the work from anywhere within the United States. The Market Research Intern will report to the North America Application Development Engineering Manager. The mission of the internship is to increase our internal understanding of customer trends and available markets through creation of models where our components are used in OEM vehicles. Applicant must have access to internet to be able to research manuals, forums, and diagrams of vehicles to find pictures and compile data of components used by vehicle by OEM. The model should be communicated to our Business Development department routinely for understanding of content per vehicle for market analysis strategy presentations.

About the Job:

• Online Research of forums, manuals, and other media to count and classify fuse content per vehicle.

• Analysis of data to build models that are easy to manipulate data to understand content by type of fuse, type of vehicle, OEM, and regions.

• Routine presentations to Business Development team of data and models.

• Market trends and models non-Automotive. Research for Automotive fuses used in non-automotive applications.

About You:

• 1-2 years of University. Working towards or interest in a technical or marketing degree.

• Internet access.

• MS Teams or other internet meeting software knowledge.

• Experience with Excel and PowerPoint.

• Able to read diagrams from technical manuals.

• High attention to detail.
