As the Financial Analyst, you will deliver daily support to the accounting and finance departments as well as perform routine assignments and solve routine/standard problems with limited discretion. This is a long-term temporary job position.Your responsibilities in this role- Encourage the monitoring and maintenance of internal accounting controls to ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley requirements- Have a hand in ensuring adequate controls and procedures- Dispense unique alternatives and advise to reduce costs and promote financial performance of a company- Contribute to several aspects of the monthly/quarterly/annual close process (i.e. journal entries, account reconciliations, expense analysis, and trend analysis, variance analysis)- Stabilize and determine budgets and income statement forecasts- Have a hand in the organization of monthly financial reporting and other business data- Previous experience in assisting internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits- Go over closing results at the corporate and division levels- Probe and query a vast amounts of data- Keep up-to-date on annual budgeting process- Sometimes disclose elaborate financial subjects to non-financial staff members in special projects
