As the Financial Analyst, you will deliver daily support to the accounting and finance departments as well as perform routine assignments and solve routine/standard problems with limited discretion. Your responsibilities in this role

- Encourage the monitoring and maintenance of internal accounting controls to ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley requirements

- Have a hand in ensuring adequate controls and procedures

- Dispense unique alternatives and advise to reduce costs and promote financial performance of a company

- Contribute to several aspects of the monthly/quarterly/annual close process (i.e. journal entries, account reconciliations, expense analysis, and trend analysis, variance analysis)

- Stabilize and determine budgets and income statement forecasts

- Have a hand in the organization of monthly financial reporting and other business data

- Previous experience in assisting internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits

- Go over closing results at the corporate and division levels

- Probe and query a vast amounts of data

- Keep up-to-date on annual budgeting process

- Sometimes disclose elaborate financial subjects to non-financial staff members in special projects

- Background in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly valued (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)

- Capable computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software, as well as databases and customer database systems

- Capable of working independently with minimal oversight

- BA/BS degree in finance or a related field

- Excellent communication and organizational skills

- Analysis experience

- Customer service experience

- Microsoft experience

- Experience with Data Analysis

- Compensation analysis experience

- Be detailed, flexible, and organized
