Join the Mac's Team, business is increasing and there is money to be made Mac's experienced servers average $25+ combined wages and tips, Bartender average more Mac's offers free parking, employee meals and uniform shirts that we launder. We have immediate openings for part-time and full-time Serving positions and experienced Bartenders Mac's is open Monday - Saturday evenings plus Friday and Saturday lunches. WE are willing to work around school schedules, but do require Friday and Saturday availability.Mac's Acadian Seafood Shack has been a destination for the Past 25 years - just 10 minutes from Ann Arbor. We serve Fresh Fish , Seafood , Steaks, Pasta Salads, Burgers and Po'boys: made from scratch dishes, creative cocktails craft beers and a full wine list. We have a private dining room, expansive outdoor seating area and offer a happy Hour daily.You'll be the face of our restaurant and responsible for our customers' experiences. You need to be quick on your feet (literally and metaphorically) and have an upbeat, polite and friendly attitude. If you enjoy a fast-paced workplace, we'd like to meet you. Mac's has opportunities for you too: food running, hosting and service assistant positions are available)Responsibilities:Work as part of our Team: answering the phone, taking reservations and to go orders, greeting and seating our guests.Be knowledgeable about all food and beverages, upselling and suggesting features as presented.Present restaurant menus and help customers select food/beverages.Take and serve orders, anticipate guests needsAnswer questions or make recommendations, guide your guests through our menu.Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staffSkills:Proven restaurant serving or waitering experience.Attention to cleanliness and safety.Patience and customer-oriented approach.Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude.Responsible and trustworthy.Punctual and reliable.
