Hundreds of high school students converged on McNichols campus Saturday for Visit Day.
UDM alumni and students welcomed every prospective student.
The UDM admissions team provided a hearty breakfast, informational booths, fun activities, raffles, prizes and a tour of the campus.
Tommy the Titan also made an appearance bringing UDM pep and spirit.
The event started bright and early at 8 a.m. with the admissions team and student ambassadors preparing for an expected crowd of 400 students and parents.
In the ballroom, biology professor Matt Mio spoke about the university.
In the midst of parents getting the information about their students’ acceptance, one mother cried tears of joy because her child had received his acceptance letter.
