Senior reflects on his ‘rollercoaster’ year of Titan basketball
The basketball season was a rollercoaster to say the least.
I enjoyed my time with the team and built bonds and friendships that will last a lifetime.
I feel as though we all think that we could have done better this season but we made tremendous strides throughout all of the adversity.
I wish we could have played more games because we began to really come together as a team and play some meaningful basketball toward the end of the season.
Personally, the season went pretty well; I am very proud of myself for what I have accomplished.
A good portion of the year was very rough for me being that I was playing through some nagging injuries.
I appreciate the time I have spent at Detroit Mercy and the people I have met.
I respect all of the coaches and all of my teammates for going out there and giving it our all every time we stepped on the floor.
I want to thank the Davis family for welcoming me and being so help- ful to me throughout my time here. Coach Mike Davis has been a great coach and has pushed me to be the best I can be.
Playing with Antoine Davis and witnessing all of the great things that he has accomplished has been a blessing. Antoine has been great motivation for me and an exception- al role model for me to look up to.
Antoine’s worth ethic and dedication to the game is something special and to be a part of it has been awesome.
This year has been a lot, I have had my ups and downs but I appreciate everything and everyone that has been along the ride.
