Philanthropy Awareness Day will be spotlighted on Thursday, Feb. 26, in two locations: the Loft Dining Room and the library lobby.
The Student Alumni Association and the Office of University Advancement will once again be giving out free hot chocolate to anyone who stop by between 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Throughout the week of Feb. 23, special signage will be posted around campus identifying areas that were made possible because of generous alumni donations.
More than 7,000 alumni gave gifts to UDM totaling more than $5 million during the 2014 fiscal year.
The association will also recognize all faculty and staff who have donated.
Faculty and staff who donated to UDM this fiscal year will receive a “donor pin” in their university mailboxes.
They are invited to wear their pins on Thursday, Feb. 26.
If you see faculty or staff members wearing their pins, the Student Alumni Association asks that you thank them.
