I received a Masters degree in Education with a major in English. I applied this to my educational career. As a classroom teacher for 25 years, I worked with elementary students in every subject. Towards the end of my teaching career I became an E.L.A. Teacher specializing in every aspect of Language Arts. In addition to classroom instruction I tutored students after school and even during my personal lunch time because the students requested it and I saw a need.
