I attended the University of California at Berkeley where I received an undergraduate degree in Mathematics and a minor in English. I later completed a graduate degree and received my teaching credential. I have taught for many years, and I also have over a decade of experience providing individual tutoring to students. I feel that teachers have an opportunity to provide guidance and support while helping students reach their educational goals. One-to-one tutoring allows students and teachers to work together as a team to accomplish those goals more quickly and thoroughly. The positive experiences I had with my own teachers helped to grow my interest in teaching.
