Senior reflects on his ‘rollercoaster’ year of Titan basketball

The basketball season was a rollercoaster to say the least.

I enjoyed my time with the team and built bonds and friendships that will last a lifetime.

I feel as though we all think that we could have done better this season but we made tremendous strides throughout all of the adversity.

I wish we could have played more games because we began to really come together as a team and play some meaningful basketball toward the end of the season.

Personally, the season went pretty well; I am very proud of myself for what I have accomplished.

A good portion of the year was very rough for me being that I was playing through some nagging injuries.

I appreciate the time I have spent at Detroit Mercy and the people I have met.

I respect all of the coaches and all of my teammates for going out there and giving it our all every time we stepped on the floor.

I want to thank the Davis family for welcoming me and being so helpful to me throughout my time here. Coach Mike Davis has been a great coach and has pushed me to be the best I can be.

Playing with Antoine Davis and witnessing all of the great things that he has accomplished has been a blessing. Antoine has been great motivation for me and an exceptional role model for me to look up to.

Antoine’s worth ethic and dedication to the game is something special and to be a part of it has been awesome.

This year has been a lot, I have had my ups and downs but I appreciate everything and everyone that has been along the ride.
