How do you go about hiring a genital inspector for youth sports? I’m seriously asking.
That is the reality many American states are looking at, because of moral panic related to transgender or 2SLGBTQ+ people in general.
Josh Schriver, Elissa Slotkin and other Michigan politicians who absolve the humanity of their constituents yet have immense love for money and war: you disgust me. I would address other legislators, but you two are barely worth this call out.
This moral panic has been a platform for many politicians. These politicians will waste time and community resources to pass weightless legislation targeting people who dress like animals, or in their preferred expression, all while their libraries lack funding and they have an opiate and narcotic issue in their large cities. Or maybe worse, they avoid the subject entirely.
What I’m saying is: first they wanted you to worry about Black people in your bathroom, then it was lesbians, now it’s trans people.
And let me ask you this. Do you know any woman that has been assaulted?
If you do, you should know that men don’t need to pretend to be women to assault women. A man pretending to be a woman is not a trans woman. That is a man pretending to be a woman, to prey on women. You are scared of men.
Whether you like it or not, people medically can change their gender. Medically, sex and gender are different. Just as a matter of biological fact, there are more than two variations of sex as well, more than 30.
All trans means anyways, is to change. It is medical terminology, so it is Latin.
Trans is the opposite of cis, which is to stay the same. Cisgender is not something ‘made up’ to target your fragile feelings. It is simply medical terminology. Get a grip.
Queerness is natural in nature. Penguins and sheep are lesbian all the time, some snails and frogs can change their sex. But besides that, queerness is natural in humanity too and has been for centuries. What is not natural is manufactured hatred toward people who barely make up a percent of the United States population.
The recent hatred targeting trans people simply will affect cisgender women more than trans women. More cisgender little girls will have their genitalia inspected just to participate in sports than little trans girls. Seriously, do you think any trans child would try and play under those conditions? Nobody should.
And with all this talk about trans women, I wonder what we will do with trans men? Do you really want a trans man playing on a girls team? Does that really make sense? Someone literally supplementing their testosterone?
Trans people’s hormones are regulated like their cis peers, so it’s not like this imaginary trans guy is souped up or anything, but that’s still nonsensical.
How long will the war on trans people last? It is only a matter of time until someone suspects you, based on something arbitrary like the shape of your jaw or your brow bone. How will you prove it? Will you? Can you? Should you? Why?
The only kids harmed by any ‘gender ideology’ are the kids harmed by traditional gender essentialism.
Protect trans lives. Protect trans kids.
